For women who are pregnant, diligently maintain the conditions for staying in shape is something that is not negotiable. Especially if the twin pregnancy!
- Be wary if you have a history of miscarriage or have a disease that can affect pregnancy such as anemia, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, asthma and others. Tell your doctor to get special treatment.
- Enough nutrients. If nutrition is not enough, there will be stunted fetal growth. Be sure to eat whole grains, dairy products, fresh fruits and vegetables, foods rich in protein such as fish, chicken, meat, cheese, nuts and eggs.
- Birth control more often, once in 2 weeks at 24 weeks gestation and 1X a week at 36 weeks of gestation.
- Enough rest. Body work 2 times harder, need to break 2 times more.
- Sports. Can be done and beneficial for your twin pregnancy. Choose low impact, such as swimming, yoga and meditation. Or, consult your doctor.
- Follow-class preparation for pregnancy / birth. Ask specific class.
- Talk. Reduce stress by talking and planning for the future as a couple.
