Pregnant, May Stay Vegetarian?

Vegetarian is one of life's choices. But if you are pregnant, whether vegetarians should still be done? Here are the options

  1. Stop used to be vegetarian, to ensure adequate nutrition for the fetus. Now some of the nutritional needs increase so that animal foods are needed for growth and development of the fetus. For example, animal protein, iron, calcium, folic acid, vitamin B12 and vitamin D.
  2. Lowering the "levels" vegetarian, vegan-vegetarian example of (do not eat meat at all, including dairy and eggs) into a semi-vegan (may eat meat, chicken, fish), pesci / co-vegans (should not eat fish), lacto-ovo vegans (should not eat eggs, milk and other dairy products), or ovo-vegans (should not eat eggs).
  3. Remain vegan. To get around that maternal and fetal nutritional deficiencies :
Add variations in the types of vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds, to replace nutrients from meat, milk and eggs.

Source of protein, obtained from tofu, tempeh, soy and nuts.
Source of iron, in cereals (including rice), dark green vegetables and fruits.
Source of minerals and vitamin D, getting from supplements prescribed by a doctor, because both are abundant in animal foods.
How about you, including vegetarians?
