Overcome Headaches In Pregnancy



Headache or Migraine is a complaint which affects an estimated 90% of pregnant women, especially newly pregnant first. Another cause is the changes in hormone levels, stress or depression is often experienced by the expectant mother. 

Drug safety: Paracetamol. 
Unsafe Drugs: 

  • Codeine, because of the risk of causing defects or abnormalities in the fetus. 
  • Aspirin. Although so far there is no report as the cause of fetal defects, but proved aspirin can interfere with fetal liver stages of the development process. 
  • Ibuprofen, the risk of causing disruption in the process of formation of the fetal liver. 

Alternative therapies: 

  • Walking regularly in the open valve clean and fresh. 
  • Rest, for example, take a nap with her eyes covered with a cloth dipped ice water. 
  • Head massage to the neck and both shoulders gently. Ask your partner to do so.
